Shipping policy

At Neighbourhood Greens, all of our microgreens are grown from seed and harvested within 24 hours of delivery to ensure maximum freshness and shelf life.

As a small, local business, our delivery schedule is structured around our growing cycles.

Delivery Schedule

  • We deliver primarily on Thursdays.
  • Standard delivery window: 6:00am – 3:00pm.
  • Occasionally, deliveries may occur later in the afternoon or evening depending on route logistics and seasonal demand.

Order Cut-Off & Growing Timeline

Because we grow our microgreens from scratch, we recommend placing your order up to two weeks in advance to guarantee availability for your preferred delivery date.

Availability depends on our current growing schedule and capacity.

We always strive to fulfil every order. If we have additional availability in a given week, we may be able to include late orders.

If you need microgreens urgently, please email us at hello@neighbourhoodgreens.com and we will:

  • Confirm a realistic timeline for delivery, or
  • Offer an alternative variety if your preferred microgreens are not currently available.

Delivery Areas

We personally deliver throughout Sydney Metro.

To check whether we deliver to your address, simply proceed through checkout and enter your delivery details. Our system will automatically confirm whether local delivery is available in your area.

For customers located outside our standard delivery zone, we may be able to arrange delivery via next-day post, where suitable. Please note:

Postal deliveries are subject to carrier timeframes.

We are not responsible for delays once orders have been handed to the postal service.

Delivery Conditions

Please ensure someone is available to receive your order, or that a safe, shaded location is provided for drop-off.

If you are not home at the time of delivery, we strongly recommend leaving a cooler box with ice packs out for us so we can place your order inside. This is particularly important during warmer months to help maintain freshness until you are able to refrigerate your microgreens.

Microgreens are perishable and should be refrigerated as soon as possible after delivery. If no safe drop-off location is available, we cannot guarantee the condition of the product once delivered.

Missed Deliveries

If:

  • The address provided is incorrect
  • Access is restricted
  • We are unable to safely leave your order

The delivery may be forfeited and cannot be refunded.

Please double-check your delivery details prior to each order.

Subscription Deliveries

For subscription customers:

  • Deliveries occur automatically based on the subscription frequency you selected (e.g. weekly, fortnightly, or monthly).
  • Changes, skips or cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled delivery day.
  • Once harvesting has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Weather & Delays

While rare, extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery timing. If delays occur, we will communicate with customers as soon as possible.
